Physical stores need to fit the present era again and that is what Count3r focuses on: creating the Smart Store. Count3r was founded by Peter van der Bel, Tim Pellikaan and Jori de Goede in 2013 because they believed shopping should be easier and more enjoyable.

The Smart Store combines the best of the online and offline worlds of shopping, by giving sales associates the best technology on the shop floor. Our tablet app for sales associates supports customers from entrance to exit. The platform is the beating heart of every sales conversation. It offers all necessary information and collects all required data to make brick and mortar stores truly data-driven.

Selling with an iPad assistant

The idea behind tablet assisted sales is not only to help customers better, but also to support staff in carrying out the variety of processes during their interaction with customers. Due to this innovation in the form of a tablet app, staff has all information at their fingertips and are very mobile. Payment, amongst others, is a major functionality within the app. So from now onwards you can pay from every location in the store and have your delivery planned immediately. No more waiting in line! This all makes stores get really smart!

How it works

Count3r helps both sales associates and customers. In addition to smoothly facilitating the transfer from a webshop to an in-store experience, it is our main objective to make staff more digital. This includes a long list of solutions, such as:

  • In-store product reviews, information, and videos
  • Payment everywhere in the store
  • Personalised product recommendations (based on previous purchases, preferences or personality)
  • Checking stock on the spot and placing (omnichannel) orders

Count3r wants to help everybody involved get better. Therefore, the app collects and analyses data of the interactions between customers and sales associates.
